I grew up locally and following redundancy after 30 years in a corporate environment I have become a full time artist and tutor. I work mainly in oils, acrylics and soft pastels. I love colour , landscapes and all things nautical.  

I recently married and so changed my surname from Walsh to Ford. I have two adult sons one of whom lives in Canada. 

Soft pastels are my favourite medium and I am honoured to be an Associate Artist for Unison Colour. I run regular workshops locally and teach online to a global audience which is great fun. I love to introduce people to their own inner artist.
