I paint people and places and I aim to create an atmospheric paintings of particular moments in time.

I live in Southchurch and enjoy painting local subjects as well as travelling further afield. I mostly work on location, using oils and observing the world around me, choosing subjects that spark my interest. I’m particularly draw to urban, coastal and interior scenes with interesting lighting, shapes and visual rhythms.

From time to time I take on commissions and I also make my living from teach art to adults.
