Lesley Kirkman – Biography

My love of art began at home as I was inspired by my father who was an extremely gifted artist and a member of the Southend Art Club. Work and a busy family life took over for many years but now I have found the time to embrace my art again.

I am lucky to have an art studio in my house where I can while away many a happy hour. I draw inspiration from my surroundings and my artistry is focused on capturing the beauty of impressionist landscapes and the interplay of light and colour.

I enjoy working with water based oils and acrylics and I love to explore new techniques.
