2026 Spring Art Fair - about the artist:

I am Vidya Chandrasekharan Menon. They say that art is in one's blood!  I am a prime example of that.

I have always been fascinated by dance, music and painting. While I have engaged in all the three forms, I have realised that my calling is definitely in painting.

I mainly use acrylic and mixed medium to depict my emotions, thoughts, views of the world, nature, culture... the list goes on.

I feel privileged to share my output with you all. Keen to receive your feedback and thoughts.

2026 - new member bio

I moved from London to Southend 13 years back. I always love art and have done different types of art work.  Have done kerala mural art, lippan art, oil painting etc. but mainly use acrylics. Around 100 paintings on Terracotta pots, acrylic and mix medium canvas and oil painting. Always enjoy seeing other art work and love trying new techniques. Love to be a part of Southend club.
