For several years I attened watercolour lessons at Fairkytes Arts Centre, when I lived in Hornchurchurch. Since moving to Southend, five years ago, I've painted at home but haven't participated in any groups or taken further lessons. Nowadays, I usually simply paint or draw cards for family and friends celebtrations such as birthdays and Christmas. I also draw portraits from time to time, mostly of new babies welcomed by friends and family. I also write - primarily short stories for women's magazines and at 66 years old am learning to play piano!
