As a painter I am more casual than dedicated and have produced artwork in a very intermittent manner over many years. Initially the impetus was to record holidays in pen and watercolour, but with my more recent introduction to acrylics I have drifted more and more into other topics – ships, boats, houses, flowers etc. As an engineer I can cope with buildings and perspective but struggle with colours.
