Dear fellow artists
For a while I’ve enjoyed plein air painting and a couple of times have taken part in the London plein air group. I thought it would be good to try to set up an informal group of plein air painters in Southend. Dependent on the weather the plan would be to meet 11 am Sunday 21st April in the seating area outside the Cliffs Pavilion, (NOT 28th to avoid clash with SPAOTY) and paint for 3 hours and then share work or have an informal display on the terrace. Anyone taking part would be personally liable for their own safety etc as its an informal group.
